Dollar Find Friday~ Valentine Mailbox!

Join us tonight right here in the TSG forum for our weekly Friday Night Chat!
Everyone is welcome and we love meeting new people :)
Hello Everyone!!
Its me Piali!! You must be thinking oh no! one more Target Dollar spot plastic Valentine mailbox....but NO its different! I'm sure you're going to love my mailbox...its SWEET, tiny and super quick to make!! 5 Minutes each!!
Okay! here its is...
I love making mini Valentine candy treats!!Yesterday I found small packs of Hershey nuggets for $1 at our local drugstore!! So I made these candy mailboxes...

To make the post short and less photo heavy I made photo collage of the steps...follow it clockwise.
1> Take two nuggets and adhere one on the top of other using mini glue dots.
2> Cut a 1" X 3.5" piece of solid cardstock;
3> Round the corners with a corner rounder punch or freehand.
4> Adhere the nuggets to the center of the cardstock piece( as shown in the photo) with sticky strip/scor-tape/ Glue dots.
5> Score the sides and fold it. Adhere one side only!

 Now....
6> Cut another piece of solid cardstock at 1.25" X 4".
7> Cut a piece of DP at 1" X 4".
8> Adhere both the piece together as shown.
9> Apply Scor tape/sticky strip to both the short ends.
10> Adhere the cardstock/DP to the bottom of the nuggets ( as shown in the photo) ...wrap it over the nuggets and adhere the other end!

The basic mailbox is done...add a narrow strip of cardstock for the mail box flag post.
For flag I used the sentiment from TSG~ Love Birds stamp set....I used the same sentiment but partially inked it to make different flags...
Cute..isn't it!!!
Hope you like it!
Make some of these cuties and share them among the loved ones!

Thanks for stopping by...
Have a great weekend!!!
Hugs~
Piali.
